Reason:
This upgrade is crucial to ensuring the stability and security of our services. The upgrade also addresses the vulnerability to CVE-2024-3596 for customers using non-TLS-based PAP and CHAP.
As for the Remote Networks and the Service Connections, the software upgrade addresses the PAN-OS certificate expirations as described in the below Live Community Customer Advisory,

Rollout:
The rollout will begin in phases on October 12th, 2024 between 13:00 UTC and 21:00 UTC.

Actions:
Retrieve all active gateway and portal IP addresses before the upgrade.
Verify that you have added those addresses to your allow lists
No action is required for ‘Remote Networks’, ‘Service Connections’ and 'Explicit Proxy' deployments.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and assure you that our team will work diligently to complete the upgrade as swiftly as possible.
